Compound Slab Editor Dialog

Used to set different properties of layers to the compound slab assembly.

Assembly Properties Thickness - Displays overall slab thickness.
Preview Displays the selected catalog item in the preview window. This displays changes and the preview updates as various options are chosen. The preview also changes dynamically with some of the prominent settings on the Placement tab, e.g Height, Rotation angle, etc. A right-click in the Preview opens a SHOW/HIDE Viewing Tools options menu:
  • Zoom In - Zooms in about center of preview.
  • Zoom Out - Zooms out about center of preview.
  • Pan - Moves the preview following the pointer. Click again to stop panning.
  • Fit - Fits the object to the extents of the preview.
  • Rotation - Sets the orientation of the selected item in the preview to one of the standard orientation options:
    • Isometric
    • Right Isometric
    • Top
    • Bottom
    • Left
    • Right
    • Front
    • Rear
  • Display Mode - Sets the display of the selected item in the preview to one of the standard display modes.
    • Solid
    • Wire Frame
    • Visible Edge
    • Filled Visible Edge
    For Place workflow, the Hide/Show Preview controls displaying preview of the element currently selected for placement.
Add Layer Adds a new layer to the compound slab assembly.
Note: After adding a new layer, selecting the catalog type from the Leaf Name field is mandatory.
Delete Deletes the selected layer from the compound slab assembly.
Move Layer Up Moves the selected layer up one position in the hierarchy.
Move Layer Down Moves the selected layer down one position in the hierarchy.
Leaf Name The Leaf Name consist of different leaf (layer) catalogs. Double-clicking with the left-mouse click on an added layer opens the drop-down list of leaf (layer) catalog type from where the catalogs can be selected.
Thickness Sets the slab thickness by accepting a numeric value.
Core Sets core for the selected layer from the compound slab assembly.
Edge Setback Sets the distance of the slab overhangs by accepting numerical values or is set back from the perimeter of the slab that is drawn.
Infill Edge Specifies the edge condition for each compound slab layer defined by edge setback value where different material assignment required at the perimeter for insulation or finish material. This is handled by the material assigned by different catalog layer as Edge Leaf name.
Note: You need to first select the Infill Edge to enable the Edge Leaf Name.
Edge Leaf Name Enables after selecting Infill Edge. Double-clicking with left-mouse click opens the catalog type list.
OK Saves the changes and closes the dialog.
Cancel Closes the Compound Slab Editor dialog box without saving any changes.
